Trust & safety

If something goes wrong

Most bookings go perfectly. But it's worth knowing what happens if they don't.

Before any booking

In an emergency

Your carer is guided to:

  1. Call you or your emergency contact first
  2. If they can't reach anyone, call your vet to decide whether urgent care is needed
  3. Let us know on our priority line, open 24/7

If it's clearly serious, like a collapse or a road accident, they'll get your dog straight to the nearest vet and call on the way. Care first, calls second.

Urgent vet care is the owner's responsibility to cover. If an injury or illness is a direct result of the booking, it may be eligible for Truffl cover (conditions apply).
